Bruna Hauert认为珠宝是沟通。她喜欢在故事中嵌入珠宝，因为珠宝和文字能够相互启发，使一些东西成为一个小宇宙。Bruna早期作为一名酒店艺术家的工作塑造了她，甚至当作为一名珠宝设计师，她也没有失去沟通的欲望。然而今天，她的首饰却在台上，与朋友和陌生人保持着对话。Bruna认为如果自己厚颜无耻，它就能钻到苏黎世的有轨电车下面，完成最后一笔。

1990年，Bruna Hauert创立了“Friends of Carlotta”。她原本打算为自己的珠宝做一个标签，但很快这就变成了几个珠宝设计师的展览标签。1995年，她在苏黎世老城开设了Friends of Carlotta珠宝画廊。今天，Friends of Carlotta是当代珠宝设计的主要画廊之一，通过不断变化的展览和来自世界各地的80多名珠宝设计师的作品，传达了当前珠宝创作的一个充满欲望的截面。
