旧建筑木料与菌丝体结合在一起,制成凳子家具

设计师kyunchul kim创建了一个凳子使用木料这已经被用于传统的韩国手柄,结合菌丝体。该项目的目的是使曾经发挥重要结构和功能作用的材料能够满足具有活力的其他材料,从而重新使用并产生新的形式。

汉诺克建筑中使用的树木虽然坚固美观,但由于一系列原因而被移除,并被当作废物处理。另一方面,菌丝体是真菌或类似真菌的菌落的营养部分,如果用纤维栽培,使其有足够的强度与水分和营养一起生长,则可用于家具的建造。这里,金庆春将菌丝体应用于木质零件的空隙中,使整个结构更加牢固,同时展示了新的结构,在家具结构中发挥了功能作用。每一块被拆除的木头都通过生物材料与生命相连,并得以重生。
